- Q01Does twelfth write anything back to my Shopify store?
- No. The Shopify connection is one-way and read-only. twelfth reads orders, products and inventory to build your commercial view and never edits, creates or deletes anything in your store.
- Q02How long does it take to connect Shopify?
- About a minute. Enter your myshopify.com domain, approve the read-only access on Shopify's own consent screen, and you are returned to twelfth with the sync already running.
- Q03What Shopify data does twelfth read?
- Orders, products (including variants, collections and pricing), inventory levels across locations, and aggregate customer signal. Each object is shown against the connection so you always know what is in scope.
- Q04Can I disconnect Shopify later?
- Yes. Workspace owners and admins can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting stops the sync immediately and discards the stored credential.
- Q05Who can connect a Shopify store?
- Workspace owners and admins. The connect option only appears for those roles, and only where Shopify is configured for your environment.
