Grok

Connect Grok to the active workspace as a connector over
MCP. The connection reads by default, and can
change things only if you allow it. Reach it from Settings → AI & agents →
Grok.

Add a custom connector

  1. Open grok.com/connectors and select New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Enter https://api.twelfth.ai/mcp as the server URL and save.
  3. Complete the sign-in Grok asks for: Twelfth opens, you choose the workspace and the tools to allow, and select Allow access.
  4. Ask Grok to list its Twelfth tools to confirm the connection.

On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin adds the connector first: in the
xAI console, open Grok Business → Connectors → Add
Connector → Other and enter the same URL. This needs the team’s Read-Write

Connect with a workspace key

Use this if Grok does not offer a sign-in, or for an unattended setup. Only
owners and admins can create a key, and a key reads the whole workspace.

  1. In Twelfth, open Settings → AI & agents, go to the Settings tab and, under API keys, choose Connect an agent → Grok. Twelfth creates a key for this connection, copies it to your clipboard, and starts waiting for Grok’s first request. Copy the key now if you need it again. Twelfth shows it only once.
  2. In Grok, add a connector and paste the Twelfth endpoint shown on the connection’s row, with the key Twelfth just copied for you.
  3. Save, then ask Grok to list its tools to confirm the connection.

A workspace key never makes changes.

xAI API

Developers calling the xAI API can give Grok Twelfth as a remote MCP tool. The
API can’t sign in, so use a workspace key:

Twelfth expects the Bearer prefix, so set the header in full as above
rather than passing the bare key in authorization. In the xAI SDK the field
