Zapier and Make

Zapier and Make

Connect twelfth to the automations your team already runs in
Zapier or Make. Start a Zap or
scenario when an action (a twelfth task) is created or changes, create an
action when something happens in another system, such as a new promotion or a
finished export, and look up a product or supplier along the way.

Both apps are in early access: ask hello@twelfth.ai for an invite link. They
will appear in the Zapier and Make directories once those reviews are done.

What each app does

Zapier Make
A new action is created New Action trigger Watch New Actions
An action is created or changes (completed, snoozed, reassigned, retitled) New or Updated Action trigger Watch New and Updated Actions
Look up a product by SKU, name, brand or category Find Product Search Products

Both triggers can be limited to one status, or to actions assigned to you.
Product results include current stock, days cover, units over the last 4
weeks, GP% and price.

Connect

  1. In Zapier or Make, add a twelfth step and choose Sign in or Create a connection.
  2. Sign in to twelfth and choose the workspace the connection may read. Every step on that connection reads that workspace as you, within your remits.
  3. To create actions, turn on Allow changes. Prices and orders always stay read-only.
  4. Select Allow access.

The connection appears in Settings → AI & agents → Usage, where you can
see what it has used and end it at any time. To use another workspace, add a
second connection.

Avoid duplicate actions

Map the source record’s ID, such as the promotion or export ID, to Unique
key
on Create Action. If the Zap or scenario runs again for the same record,
twelfth returns the action it already made instead of creating another.

If a step fails

  • Not allowed to use this tool: approve the tool for the connection in Settings → AI & agents, or reconnect and leave it ticked. Creating actions also needs Allow changes.
  • Connection ended or expired: reconnect in Zapier or Make. This happens when the person who connected leaves the workspace or ends the connection.
  • Slow down: twelfth allows 240 requests a minute per connection; Zapier and Make retry on their own.
