Working in Triage

Triage is the first stage of the decision pipeline. It is the queue of items twelfth has surfaced for you to review and work through — the lines that need a human look before anything happens, plus anything proposed in a conversation with Twelfth.

Open Triage from the left rail. It sits directly under Home, above Pending.

What lands here

Each overnight engine run ranks the lines worth your attention and places them in Triage. Typical reasons an item appears:

  • a price has drifted from where it should sit,
  • a line is running short before its next delivery,
  • stock is stranded in a location that needs it moved,
  • a promotion is approaching a commitment date, or
  • you (or a teammate) asked Twelfth to follow something up.

Items carry a due date, and you can snooze one to a later date without losing it.

Working an item

  1. Open the item to see the recommendation, the numbers behind it, and the evidence twelfth used.
  2. Review it against what you know. Adjust the recommended quantity or value where you have context the engine does not. Nothing is committed while you review.
  3. Choose an outcome:
Action What it does
Commit Accept the decision, as recommended or with your edits. It moves to Pending.
Snooze Bring the item back tomorrow, or on a date you choose.
Dismiss No action needed — the item leaves your queue.
Filter your view

Use the Open / Completed / All filter to focus on what still needs work or to review what you have already cleared. You can export the current view for a record or a hand-off.

From a conversation

If you asked Twelfth to do something in a chat and it proposed a task, that task appears in Triage with a link back to the source conversation — so you can reread the context before you commit.

What “done” looks like

Committing an item does not finish the work — it records your decision and moves it to Pending, where it waits for the order or change to be raised. See How work flows through Twelfth for the full path.
