Preferences

Open Settings → Preferences to adjust how Twelfth works for you. These settings are personal and do not change the workspace for anyone else.

General

Control	Options	What it changes
Default home view	Home, Triage	The first view you see when you open Twelfth.
First day of the week	Monday, Sunday	Routines, weekly planning, and date pickers.
Display names	Full name, First name	How people are named throughout your workspace views.

Control	What it changes
Dark mode	Uses a darker appearance across Twelfth. Turn it off for the light appearance.
Compact density	Fits more decisions and signals into each view by reducing spacing.
Underline links	Always underlines links in text content.
Use pointer cursors	Uses a pointer cursor when you hover over interactive elements.

Tune how Twelfth’s own assistant answers you.

Control	Options	What it changes
Default model	Auto (Twelfth recommended), or a specific model	Which model answers your questions. Auto lets Twelfth pick the best available model for you.
Thinking intensity	Instant, Balanced, Thorough, Auto	How much the assistant reasons before answering — faster replies versus more careful ones.

AI and agents — the AI chat providers you use and MCP connections for the whole workspace

Changes save as you make them. If you use more than one workspace, the same personal preferences follow your account.
