Watch list

The watch list holds items you are monitoring without an action due yet. It is one of the decision types in the pipeline, but unlike a price change or a buy it commits attention rather than an order: you are choosing to keep a line in view until something changes.

When to use it

Add a line to the watch list when:

  • it is close to a threshold but not there yet,
  • you want to see how a recent change plays out before acting,
  • a supplier or promotion situation is developing, or
  • you want a teammate to keep an eye on it too.

How it flows

Watched items sit in Pending under the Watch list type. There is no order to raise — instead, twelfth keeps surfacing the item in Triage when the signal you are watching for arrives, at which point you can commit a real decision (a price change, a buy, a transfer) or drop it from the list.

Watching is not deciding

Nothing on the watch list affects price, stock, or orders. It is a way to stay ready without committing to an action before you need to.
