Watch list
Watch list is a decision type for items you are monitoring without an action due yet. Unlike a price change or a buy, it commits attention rather than an order: you are choosing to keep a line in view until something changes. You can rename and recolour it in Decision vocabulary.
The Watch list page itself is not built yet. Until it is, keep lines in view with a routine:
Keeping a line in view
Make a routine that Gives A review, over the products you want watched, with the condition you are waiting for under Qualifies. When a run finds a line that meets it, the routine raises a Review task for you. From there you can decide what to do: a price change, a buy or a transfer, or close the task with Mark done.
Good reasons to watch a line:
- it is close to a threshold but not there yet,
- you want to see how a recent change plays out before acting,
- a supplier or promotion situation is developing, or
- you want a teammate to keep an eye on it too.
A review task affects nothing: price, stock and orders stay as they are. It is a way to stay ready without committing to an action before you need to.
