People directory
People directory
People shows the team in your workspace — the same members you manage in settings, seen the way you actually work with them: by who reports to whom and by which categories they own.
Open People from the command palette or a link into the directory. It is a read-first view; to invite, remove, or change access, use Members in Settings.
Two ways to read the team
- Reporting lines — the org structure, so you can see escalation paths and who signs off above you. Each person’s Reports to manager is set in their directory context.
- Category ownership — who owns which book, so you know whom to talk to about a line or a supplier.
Open a person to see their profile — name, role, and the categories they cover. A person’s remits are chosen from your workspace’s managed categories, so ownership stays on one shared, curated set rather than drifting into free text.
People vs Members
People is for finding and understanding the team. Members is the admin surface for invitations, roles, and access, and is limited to owners and admins.
