Price changes

A price decision changes the price on one or more lines. Price recommendations are one of the decision types that flow through the pipeline: twelfth surfaces them in Triage, you commit them, and they wait in Pending until the change is pushed to your operational system.

What twelfth recommends

The engine surfaces a price when it has drifted from where it should sit — margin under pressure, a competitor move, a cost change flowing through, or a line sitting outside its category rules.

Each recommendation shows the recommended price alongside the current one, and the reasoning and evidence behind it.

Reviewing a price change

  1. Open the item in Triage to see the recommended price and why it changed.
  2. Adjust the price where you know something the engine does not — a supplier agreement, a planned promotion, a positioning call.
  3. Commit the change. It moves to Pending, grouped under the Price type.

Guardrails

Price decisions respect your workspace guardrails. A change that would take a line below the category gross-profit floor, or a value above your authority limit, is held for review or sent to a manager for sign-off rather than moving ahead as normal.

Nothing changes until it is raised

Committing a price decision records your intent. The price itself changes only when the decision is raised out of Pending into your operational system.
