Comms and chat

Open Settings → Comms & chat to connect the messaging tools your team lives in. These connections are kept separate from Integrations — Integrations are the operational systems Twelfth reads from, while Comms & chat is where Twelfth posts to.

Only workspace owners and admins can change comms connections.

Each tool shows a status — On, Off, or a warning such as Bot not configured — cannot post yet — and a single action to connect or, once connected, Manage.

Providers

Each provider has its own setup and management guide:

• Slack — install the Twelfth app into your Slack workspace and choose the channels it can post to.
• Google Chat — post into Google Chat spaces using your workspace’s shared Google grant.
