Google Sheets and Drive
Google Sheets and Drive
Use Google Sheets and Drive where your team already keeps plans and documents.
Twelfth’s shared-file flows use the reader address shown in the setup: share
a file with that address, then choose or paste its link in Twelfth.
You do not connect a personal Google Drive account for these shared-file flows.
Google Calendar, Merchant Center and Search Console have separate account
connections and guides.
Choose a guide
| Guide | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Sharing and access | Share with the right address, choose Viewer or Editor, and resolve workspace ownership checks. |
| Read files into Twelfth | Use a sheet as a calendar or target source, or share a document as AI context. |
| Templates and spreadsheet destinations | Create a starter tab or send committed decisions to a spreadsheet. |
Pick the right access
Viewer is enough to read a sheet or document. Editor is required when
you ask Twelfth to add a template tab or write decision rows. Sharing as Editor
does not turn a linked calendar, target plan or context document into a two-way
sync. Each feature has its own writing rules.
A shared file belongs to one Twelfth workspace. Removing its link does not
make it available to another workspace; share a separate copy if another
workspace needs it. See Sharing and access.
Where to start
- Settings → Calendars for a trading, promotion or custom calendar.
- Performance → Targets for reviewed target plans and source revisions.
- Artefacts → Link a file for documents the assistant should know about.
- Settings → Integrations → Destinations for decisions sent to a spreadsheet.
Linking a workbook in one place does not set it up for every other use. For
example, sharing it as AI context reads its text; a target plan still needs its
own column mapping and activation.
