Suppliers
Suppliers
Suppliers in the app rail is the supplier portfolio: every supplier your products name, with how each is trading. Select one to open their page.
For the list itself (its columns, the trading period and the Display choice), and for lead times, cover rules, and hiding or archiving a supplier, see Supplier settings.
You see your own lines
Supplier figures are scoped to your remit. Several buyers often share a supplier, each owning different categories, so the sales, tasks and SKU counts you see cover your lines under that supplier. An owner or admin who reads the whole business sees the whole relationship. The Me / All view in the app header says which you are reading.
The same rule applies to every tab below: two buyers can open the same supplier and see different numbers, and both are right.
A supplier’s page
The header shows the supplier’s name (with their website icon, if you have icons switched on) and the Trading period: 1w, 1m, 6m or 12m. The period drives the trading cards on Activity.
Owners and admins also get a ⋯ menu with Hide supplier… and Archive supplier…. See Hiding or archiving a supplier.
The page has up to six tabs:
| Tab | What it is for | Read more |
|---|---|---|
| Activity | What is waiting on this supplier now and how work on their lines has gone: trading cards, the decision pipeline, open tasks. The page opens here. | Supplier activity |
| Timeline | What your team knows and decided: notes, linked chats and past decisions, newest first. | Supplier timeline |
| Facts | What is true about the relationship: contacts, terms, lead time, minimum order, currency, how to order, and measured reliability. | Supplier facts |
| Range | Every product this supplier provides in your remits. | Range and invoices |
| Invoices | Deliveries invoiced above the order price. Only appears when there are some. | Range and invoices |
| Settings | The supplier’s website, and how your team orders from them, including a supplier portal connection. | Ordering and supplier portals |
Each tab has its own address (?tab=facts, ?tab=range and so on), so a link opens the tab you meant. Older links to ?tab=notes, ?tab=decisions and ?tab=profile still work: notes and decisions open Timeline, and profile opens Facts.
Where to find things
- “What do I need to do for this supplier?” Activity → Open tasks.
- “How long do we take to act on their recommendations?” Activity → the decision pipeline’s Median time to decide, or the Over time view.
- “Why did we change that order last month?” Timeline, filtered to Decisions.
- “Who’s our rep, and what are their payment terms?” Facts.
- “What’s their lead time and minimum order?” Facts → Buying terms & response.
- “Do they carry this product?” Range, and search for it.
- “How do we place an order with them?” Facts → How to order, which is set up in Settings → Ordering.
Asking Twelfth AI
Twelfth AI reads the same supplier record. You can ask it about a supplier by name: “What’s open for Bandai Namco?”, “What did we note about All Interactive’s cut-off?”, “Which of our suppliers have no lead time set?”. It sees the same remits you do.
